Welcome to the 2025 Team Compete Summer Hockey Academy
Team Compete Hockey is proud to present the 5th annual Summer Hockey Academy, returning for another exciting season of elite training and player development.
Held at Ice at The Parks in Arlington, Texas, this premier program runs from late May to late July 2025, offering 115 hours of intensive, high-level training designed to push athletes to their full potential.
Who Can Join?
We welcome aspiring players born between 2000 and 2012 who are ready to take their game to the next level in a focused, competitive environment.

Summer Academy Participants
The Team Compete Summer Hockey Academy welcomes dedicated athletes across multiple competitive levels. Eligible birth years are categorized as follows:
Youth Divisions
14U: 2012 & 2011
16U: 2010 & 2009
18U: 2008 & 2007
Junior Division
2006 & 2005
Collegiate Division
2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, & 2000
Camp Schedule & Location
The Team Compete Summer Hockey Academy will take place from late May through late July 2025, offering a high-performance training environment for developing athletes.
All sessions will be held at The Ice at The Parks, facility located in Arlington, Texas.
Weekly Training Schedule
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Monday: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Participants are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes early each day to allow for check-in, preparation, and an on-time start.

Gain insight into the structure, competitiveness, and key aspects of various junior and collegiate hockey leagues—including team dynamics, regulations, and how to stand out.
2. Team Profile
Learn about individual organizations, including their history, playing style, core values, and recent accomplishments.
3. Coaching Philosophy
Hear directly from coaches about their player development models, expectations, and what they value in team culture and leadership.
4. Opportunities Within Teams
Understand how to access tryouts, earn roster spots, and get scouted. Learn about recruitment processes and the traits coaches look for in athletes.
5. Career Development
Explore potential career paths in junior, collegiate, and professional hockey—from the player and coaching perspective. Learn what it takes to make the jump to the next level.
